The Annual PSSC Elections
Tuesday September 20th is the annual Bernice MacNaughton PSSC elections. We are looking for at least six new members this year.
The District 2 PSSCs play an important advisory role in determining school policy, encouraging community involvement to improve the quality of learning and in creating strategies for establishing a positive student climate. The committee meets once per month for one to two hours at a time. Members can also volunteer for programs such as the BMHS Career Day and the Teacher's Appreciation Breakfast.
The number one reason to join the PSSC is to benefit your child. In doing so, you also help your school. But there are many more PSSC advantages:
We encourage all interested parents to find out more about becoming a member by contacting the BMHS PSSC Chair, Elisabeth Rybak 962-0802
If you would like to read up on what is required of PSSC members please refer to "About PSSC" on this site.

- Get Connected. There’s no better way to know what’s happening at BMHS.
- Speak Up. PSSC can be a way for you to more effectively suggest change.
- Witness Improvement. By getting involved you’ll be part of the solution, helping to make positive changes.
- Be a Role Model. By becoming a PSSC member, you’ll be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education.
